Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) practices of corporate enterprises is coming under severe scrutiny. The threat of global warming, pollution of under ground water resources and effects of noxious emission, that are by-products of chemical manufacturing, are forcing the Nations of the World to prioritise maintenance of and improvements in the quality of our environment. In the last few years, many nations have passed and many more are passing legislations mandating compliance to stringent norms. Even Nations in the developing world are following suit.
Business Enterprises, as responsible corporate citizens, are also introducing Best Practices in the area of SH&E. This is enabling the Enterprises to on one hand comply with or surpass the statutory requirements and on the other hand demonstrate their commitment towards their employees, there by gaining their (employees) trust and loyalty.
Hence SH&E is becoming an integral part of a business enterprises and top key result areas.
